Username: Lt. Dan Taylor

Steam ID: STEAM_1:0:46162399

Steam Profile: (I can send it, but you know how it is Sad )

Time on server: Haven't joined yet.

Is this a character application, or transfer: Application.

If transfer, what previous roleplay has occured(Gist of it): N/A

What items are you requesting? Signet Ring of the character's house. A pittance of money, and a hug.

Roleplay experiences? Too many.

Why should you have all this? I want to play the server with this character, and I want to make sure it's not pushing it by making an application. I also LOVE Roleplay, and I was brought here by Hawkeye to roleplay with him, only him though.

[Optional if RP Example used]Backstory: Born twenty-four years ago to the current Duke of Embroltan, a land far from the current location with a noble family renowned for their magical prowess, Lilliana di Embroltan was the daughter of the Duke's second wife, a woman who with lack of a better term was in the marriage in a much more political context, as the Duke's first wife expired tragically years prior. In such a position, Lilliana wasn't given the necessary paternal attention, and all the wrong maternal attention; her mother not quite understanding the position she was in and the nature of the Duke's precarious emotional situation regarding his new family. Flaunted infront of her peers, Lilliana was much like a circus animal, to garner attention to herself and in extension her Mother, who wished for validation through her commitment to family and the improvement of her husband's estate. A man that cared very little for social scheming and the wiles of his newfound wife.

Lilliana's first interaction with Magic was at the behest of her Father, his interest piqued sometime in her early youth as one that may possess a talent for the arcane arts. It was no coincidence her Father and previous generations of Embroltans were capable of magic and typically dominated the country's development and training of future wizards. Given the circumstances of her lineage she did in fact possess great potential as a student, and was promptly tutored from a young age in the magical arts, her potential growing as the early-onset education and training helped develop her skills in such a critical period.

By her teens, Lilliana was an accomplished arcane wizard, clearly understanding the nature of mana manipulation and the theories behind it. Her life had improved remarkably from the period in which she started. Her training was closely monitored from a distance by her Father, and though she lacked the endearment of a capable parent providing feedback and encouragement, the continued attention from her parental figure was enough to keep her moving forward. Her Mother, long-since leaving the precarious position she had seen herself in previously had mellowed considerably. The pace of her life slowed, and so did her ambition, this new attention put into Lilliana helped her recover a measure of her ability to understand and interact with other people outside of her close sphere of tutors and fellow pupils. Her shell was opened per say by the increased emotional connections she made with her Mother, whose relationship could've been described as rocky at best.

When it became time to leave the next, typically women of her age, now in their late teens and early adult years, would find themselves engaged and married off to suitable men of the period and time in order to continue the line of their families and in-laws, but Lilliana's fate would be different, as her skills and nature of her family led her to be sent off once more to study under the tutelage of a master wizard, a man of wondrous talents who would no-doubt bring Lilliana to great success and prestige within her life. She would never make it to that man, in the deep of night whilst in-transit to this Wizards home, the young sorceress made a brief outing to catch some air, and happened to take a portion of her luggage and some travelling money with her. Leaving behind a note in the dead of night, Lilliana wrote to her Father of all people, speaking of her desire to seek success within her arts from her own strength and wisdom. Wanting to ever-briefly escape her family's name to truly grow as a magician and person. This slight detour from her journey leads her to the current location, perhaps a bit low on money, and a bit low on food.

What are your characters' ambitions? Gaining influence and respect among nobility and wizards barring her Family's reputation and influence.

What are your characters' perks/skills? She is an educated noblewoman trained in the arcane arts, Mastering it before she had reached adulthood. She is also an expert in Illusion, and Elemental magic. Though with little combat experience, she can't really say how she may fair in a combat situation, as her abilities, while worthy of note separately, are without any intermingling and aren't well understood in the scheme of a battle.

What are your characters' faults/flaws? Coming to the area with little in the way of housing, finances, or contacts, Lilliana must make her own way.
She's also a woman, and a noblewoman at that. While the surrounding area can be considered more liberal by many, it can't be denied that in Melee or close combat Lilliana would be completely useless, due to her lower strength and lack of any formal training in close combat.
The nature of her inexperience also lends to her tactics in battle being rough at best. Using a powerful arcane spell may be potent, but true magical prowess comes with bringing all of their skills together and to bear in a timely fashion and manner.

Character Traits: Considered a more shrewd and collected character. Lilliana will not be attempting to invoke conflict and is much more likely to be working with parties in order to secure her own position. A typically good hearted girl, she won't be betraying her comrades easily or endangering them without purpose. The shrewd and quiet stance can come off as anti-social at times, as big crowds can be daunting to someone like herself.

Character Age: 24

Character Race: Human

(Optional)Character Description: A short and unassuming woman at the height of 5'4" with blonde hair and light blue eyes, she dons a black cloak to protect her from the elements and under it wears a white blouse with string ties to keep it snug to her body. On her legs she wears black pants with knee-high boots to protect her feet from the mud and damp earth, with the pants featuring buttons at the top and a belt to keep it fitting at the waist. At her waist there is a small satchel draped, which lies draped over her shoulder and seems to perhaps house a book or two, and other travelling amenities that may find themselves useful.
