Training your character
Training is something that is done for all types of characters. A knight trains in the way of his blade, and a mage trains in various magical skills. Training is important to all societies and races, and as such, is something that can be done in order to advance a character's inherent abilities with a particular skill.
Keep in mind that while you are able to train skills, it is not possible to raise your core attributes. When you make your character, your core attributes are set in stone, and cannot be permanently altered.
Training is a process that takes course over 3 OOC days. Whether you do this training on a single day, or over the course of these days, is up to you, but it is presumed that your character is training for all 3 of those days, which would be 12 IC days. (Nearly 2 weeks.) Whenever you train, you must collect the logs into a website called pastebin.com While you can use other methods to storing your logs, I find pastebin to be the most useful and easiest to use.
After you collect sufficient amount of logs for training, you can send the logs to a director. Then, they will be able to raise your skill up by a single point. The level of experience with a skill is listed below. Keep in mind that you cannot raise your skill above 5 through training. Adept & Expert level skills MUST be applied for, as these skills take many years to truly grasp all the details involved in that skill.
0 - No Training
2 - Trained
4 - Novice
6 - Adept
8 - Expert
10 - Master
At a minimum, all training logs must contain 12 /me's or more.
